What to expect
As you are aware by now, your little one changes so much in their first year. Milestone sessions are designed to capture this precious time as your little ones personality is shinning through.
Milestone sessions take place anytime in the first year, but typically either 3/4 months, 6/7 months or 1 year. These sessions are designed to capture all those gorgeous baby giggles, smiles, personality and of course those gorgeous baby rolls.
As this age, babies don't have the patience for long photography sessions. So milestone minis are designed just for them and are 20 mins long.
Client Wardrobe
As part of every session you are welcome to choose a outfit from my client wardrobe. To see examples of the wardrobe please click HERE
Studio Directions
9 Awaruku Road, Torbay
My cosy home studio is designed for newborn, maternity and milestone sessions, and is located at the front of my house with seperate access, so it's nice and private.
When you arrive at the studio, you can park on the drive way or on the road, and head to the top of the driveway you will see the entrance in to my studio on your left.
Can we bring extended family?
Please note the Mini Milestone Sessions are BABY ONLY, if you have extended family that would like to watch the session, my studio is limited to only 2 adults.
Can the parents be in the photos
The milestone mini is for babies only. If you would like parents/siblings you will need to change the type of booking to a family session. These typically are around 45 minutes and include much more photos in your gallery to choose from.
WHEN WILL THE PICTURES BE READY?
The final images are carefully edited and then uploaded to your own private gallery within a week. From there you can select which digitals you would like based upon the package you choose, there will be options to upgrade if you want.
How many outfits can we choose?
For a milestone sessions I recommend 1 or a max of 2 outfits. Generally little ones dislike getting changed so we want to keep him/her happy and limit the number of changes.
I want to bring my own outfits
No problems, you don't have to wear something from the client wardrobe! Or you can mix and match - half the shoot in your own outfit and the second half in something from the client wardrobe - it's your choice! If you want to wear your own outfit and need advice on colour tones, just let me know. I normally recommend anything natural (whites, creams) or earthy tones (olive, rust, browns, etc).
Can we add on any outside shots?
Not for a mini session sorry, as the sessions are short they all take place in the studio.
