Maternity
Pregnancy is a beautiful, fleeting chapter - and maternity photography is the perfect way to celebrate your growing bump and the journey into motherhood.
At Little Wild Ones, you can choose the setting that suits your style: a relaxed studio session, a magical native bush setting, or a golden sunset shoot at the beach. Each session is gentle, low-key, and designed to capture your connection, glow, and anticipation in a natural and timeless way.

FAQ
Can I use your client wardrobe?
Absolutely! All maternity sessions include access to my curated client wardrobe at no extra charge. I have a beautiful selection of dresses designed to flatter baby bumps and photograph beautifully in every setting - from the studio to the beach.

Can my partner or kids be in the photos too?
Yes, of course! Maternity sessions are all about celebrating this chapter of your life, and that includes your partner or children if you'd like them to be involved. I’ll gently guide the session to keep things relaxed and connected, no awkward poses here.

When should I book my maternity session?
The best time to book your maternity session is between 32–36 weeks. By this stage, your bump has a beautiful shape, but you’ll still be comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the session. I recommend booking early to secure a spot, especially if you're planning a weekend beach shoot, as sunset times can book out quickly.

What time of day is best for maternity photos?
It depends on the location you choose! Studio and native bush sessions are held in the morning when the light is soft and even. Beach sessions are scheduled for golden hour — about an hour before sunset — for that dreamy, flattering glow.

Where do beach sessions take place?
Sunset shoots happen at Long Bay Reserve, which offers a mix of beach, trees, and golden light. If you'd prefer a dramatic West Coast beach, that’s also an option - just note there’s an additional travel fee for these sessions.
