Milestone Mini
Milestone mini sessions are short and sweet portrait sessions designed to capture your child's personality as they grow in their first year. Whether you missed out on newborn photos or simply want an updated portrait during those first few years, these sessions are perfect for documenting those in-between moments you never want to forget.
They’re ideal for babies around 6–7 months (when they’re sitting unaided and their cheeky little personality is starting to shine). These sessions are child-only and perfect for parents wanting a beautiful keepsake without the time commitment of a full shoot.
Also available as part of Year One Plan which includes a newborn, milestone and cake smash session capturing all the important milestone in your babies first year.

About the Session
Milestone minis take place in my home studio and are designed with little ones in mind - quick, fun and relaxed.
Each session includes:
- A 20 minute session in the studio
- Use of client wardrobe
- Baby only - no siblings/family
- An on-line viewing gallery to view 20+ images
- A choice of 5 edited images to download in high resolution
Please note: these sessions are for baby only. If you’d like to include parents or siblings, a full family session would be a better fit.

Can parents or siblings be included in the session?
Mini milestone sessions are for baby only. If you’re hoping to be in a few photos or include siblings, a full family session would be the best option to allow more time and flexibility.
How long is the session?
Sessions are around 20 minutes, which is just the right amount of time for little ones at this age. I suggest booking a time when your baby is usually well-rested and happy - avoiding nap or meal times where possible.
Can I have an outdoor milestone session instead?
Milestone minis are designed to be quick, relaxed sessions held exclusively in my studio. The special pricing reflects the shorter time frame and controlled studio setting. Outdoor sessions require more time, setup, and travel, so if you're after a session at the beach or in the bush, I’d recommend booking a full family session instead.
What should my baby wear?
I recommend soft neutrals - creams, greys, browns, olives. You’ll also have access to my client wardrobe, if you wanted to borrow anything, which includes a curated selection of beautiful outfits for babies. Due to the short timeframe, I recommend planning for 1–2 outfits max per session so we can keep things relaxed and focused on capturing those sweet expressions.
